How can I put certain software packages with minimal effort on LINUX VDS? For example:

APACHE + PHP 5.4(и правка конфига) + MEMCACHED + ISPMANAGER LITE

I heard something about the ability to do it on bash , but with minimal knowledge of administration it is difficult.

    First you need to understand what is your distribution (simplify - what a package manager). Most likely there is either apt (debian-ubuntu) or rpm / yum / dnf for Fedora / CentOS / RedHat. And then most likely it will be easy. And it's easier to google. - KoVadim 4:39 pm

the easiest, fastest, and most securely is from the repository of the gnu / linux distribution you use. using the default distro package manager.

You can define the distribution name / family, for example, using the lsb_release program:

 $ lsb_release -a

or, if not available, by examining the output of the command:

 $ cat /etc/*release*

Which package manager is used by default is entirely dependent on the distribution.

  • can. but writing long universal instructions for all existing distributions (taking into account the differences in package breakdowns in different versions) from hundreds of one-liners is unnecessary work for anyone. you can find the necessary commands yourself, having defined the name and version of the distribution kit (their benefit on the Internet is a huge amount): “the name is the version how to install the package”. - aleksandr barakin February

If this is debian / ubuntu, then there is a tasksel utility, where you can choose for example LAMP-server

 $ sudo tasksel

or if fedora / centos

 $ sudo dnf group install "some group"
