When I start writing in CSS p , Sublime Text 3 instead of padding: offers to write padding-top: padding-left: And only when I write pad , I am offered padding:

I have Emmet installed. I enter p , I click tab - it is issued padding-right: ; :; I write p- - padding-right: ; .

What do I have to do in Sublime Text I have been offered padding: ; ?

  • In the official documentation Emmet ppadding: ; , I'm alright. And in the drop-down menu, I also get padding: Thank. - Sasha Chernykh
  • Well, I'm glad you're ok. I needed to provide screenshots that I had padding-right: dropped out? - Webfeya
  • No, I mean, by default, this does not happen, autocomplete should work correctly without such changes in settings. Perhaps you have installed plug-ins conflicting with Emmet, in which you should look for the problem. Sorry if I misunderstood myself. Thank. - Sasha Chernykh
  • Removing other plugins to find a conflict is not an option. I need all installed plugins. - Webfeya
  • Webfeya, is this an isolated case when you had to pre-register autocomplexes yourself, or did you still have to? Thank. - Sasha Chernyh

Already she found a solution:

Ctrl + Shift + P, Bro, Enter

In the User folder, create a CSS.sublime-completions file with the following contents:

 { "completions": [ { "trigger": "p", "contents": "padding:" } ] }

Restart Sublime Text.

  • Another option, if problems with Emmett and autocomplete, install snippets for HTML and CSS . In the Emmet user settings file add "disabled_single_snippets": "fig meta nav ol script style ul" . Thank. - Sasha Chernykh

Hello, put Emmet and you will be happy :)
