    The program during its work should not change the Program Files. All editable data should be placed in the user profile.

      @Ivan - a program update should be made by its installer, which will have administrator rights, and therefore, be able to write to Program Files - gbg

    For example:

    [Dirs] Name: "{app}\FullPermissionsDir"; Permissions: everyone-full

    But it will be a subfolder of the folder that the user chose to install the application. In this way, it is recommended to create only empty folders, since folders for files specified in the [Files] section are created automatically during installation.
