In general, this is what Samsung answered me:

Such sounds and clicks are associated with the hard drive. The reason, most likely, is that Linux does not have support from Bios laptop and hard disk controller and therefore its commands are not properly processed and clicking is the sound of head parking is not in normal mode. This is not very good and can lead to accelerated wear of hard disk mechanics. We recommend to return to the pre-installed version of the operating system.
