Sublime Text 3 does not want to become the default text editor in ubuntu mate 04/14/2. What has been done:
- Installed sublime-text 3 off site and ppa repository: webupd8team / sublime-text-3
- The /usr/share/applications/defaults.list replaced all gedit with sublime_text
- Checked /usr/share/applications/sublime_text.desktop
Tired already to understand, files always open in gedit, then in bluma, then libre office (as competitors are deleted :)) When competitors were deleted, files in sublime still do not open under the pretext "There is no installed application for files like PHP script Find is the right application to open this file? "
If you open through the item "Open in another program", then just an empty sublime-text-3 opens.
In the file properties, the program sublime-text-3 is specified as the default editor.
My sorrow has no limits. When installed on a virtual machine, ubuntu mate behaves in the same way, because of which I draw conclusions: either I do something wrong, or something with the distribution kit (which is unlikely).
Help me please.
