To open the terminal has alt-f12 . To go back you have to close the terminal with the same command. It would be convenient to transfer the focus to the workspace without closing the terminal with a hot key.

The problem is that there is a separate hotkey space in the terminal window and most of the usual ones lead to different results. For example, Ctrl + Tab does not open Switcher, but simply enter a tab character.

The following combination will work on the default settings: Alt + 2 , 2 (press 2 twice, without releasing Alt )

The first Alt + 2 opens the Favorites window, the second closes and returns the cursor to the editor window.

A similar trick with the numbers 6 (TODO), 7 (Structure), 9 (Version Control). But there are larger windows that hurt the eyes. Favorites by default - the smallest.

Instead of pressing the digit a second time, you can press Esc , the result is the same, but a bit slower.
