Text editors such as Sublime Text and Notepad ++ have the ability to drag and drop text. For example, you select a section of text, press the Ctrl key and drag it to the right place with the mouse, while the text is copied. If you do not press the Ctrl key, the text is not copied, but moved. This does not happen in the Brackets editor.

Is it possible to make any changes in the settings of the Brackets editor so that dragging would occur? If so, write this setting.

  • I would advise you to duplicate the question in English at Stack Overflow. There is not even a brackets label here, so participants who are familiar with this editor may not see your question. (I use Sublime Text myself). Thank. - Sasha Chernykh
  • Hello Sasha Chernykh! I am in English at a primitive level. Therefore, my question native speakers of this language will be long to decipher. - Anton
  • I also have English problems, I use QTranslate , choosing from the translation options from PROMT, Babylon or Google Translate. Seems to understand and respond :). Thank. - Sasha Chernykh
  • @ SashaBlack Let's add this label? - Kromster
  • @KromStern, I'm all for it. 2 amendments: 1) the brackets label was added by someone but not synonymous with adobe-brackets ; 2) it is possible that the main label should be made exactly brackets , and not adobe-brackets due to greater recognition. Thank. - Sasha Chernykh
