I try to configure ffmpeg by following this instruction https://pracucci.com/compile-ffmpeg-on-windows-with-visual-studio-compiler.html When I get to the make command, it says that it was not found. configer ends with the warning pkg-config not found, library detection may fail. Besides, yasm "was not found or was outdated", so I had to write --disable-yasm.

  • What does echo %PATH% say? Has a path been added? - VladD
  • Do you mean the path to yasm? Yes, it was added - Julia
  • And from msys_shell, what does which make say? - VladD
  • which: no make in (/ mingw64 / bin: / usr / local / bin: / usr / bin: / bin: / c / Program Files (x86) / Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0 / Common7 / IDE / Common ...) - Julia
  • Yeah, well, then no mystery. Look for where your make really is (somewhere in msys2), and add it to PATH. - VladD 5:48 pm
