I try to raise the bot with the help of the recently released Bot Framework and connect it with the Telegram via the Bot Connector.

The bot itself is created, uploaded to Azure and perfectly responds to the Bot Framework Emulator. In the Telegram, too, the bot has already been created, the token is received.

But the picture is this:

But the picture is this

In the Channels, I registered a telegram token. However, the switch is not available in the "Published" column. I thought that adding the "Publish in Bot Directory" checkbox here in the bot settings on the portal will help. As a result, the status of adding a bot is "Pending approval", and it seems like you have to wait, but I’m confused that the Bot Directory itself is not functioning ("coming soon"), and the switch may be unavailable for some other reason. Yes, and I wait half a day already.

In general, I would like to hear someone who has already promoted with the creation of a bot on the Bot Framework, to dispel my doubts.

  • To dispel your doubts. :) I can't wait for Published either. It seems that the appearance in the general catalog is still closed for everyone (there are only 6 official ones). However, the bot in Telegram does not interfere. - Kadae
  • Yes, I have here stackoverflow.com/questions/36472270/… already answered that the bot should function without it. It remains only to understand the mechanism of telegram booting. Now in Telegram the answer arrives to any message: Operation returned an invalid status code 'MethodNotAllowed'. I have rather low programming and reading skills in English, so for the time being I understand - Eugene Razmanov
  • Understood. Incorrectly filled endpoint on the portal - Eugene Razmanov
  • Please tell us how to correctly fill out the endpoint? - user210362
  • @DenisKolesnikov site.azurewebsites.net/api/messages - instead of "site", enter the name you asked for - Eugene Razmanov

The question was raised at the time when the bot platform only appeared and the Bot Directory at that time did not display the bots created on this platform and the corresponding switches were not available, which did not interfere with the work of the bots themselves.

How is the situation with the bot-platform now? I don’t know, because I abandoned it, because after the next update it became necessary to rewrite the whole code.

And to my further question about endpoint nothing to add. As I recall, I didn’t just add "/ api / messages".
