User has changed his password on the site. When you exit the site and further attempt to enter it, the form is automatically filled with his email and password, which will no longer match the correct one, which may mislead him. How can I change the auto-complete data (not through settings) using php or javascript?

Yes, it seems that when you enter the correct password, it will be updated - even the browser itself will ask - Update password? - user33274
  • Yes, indeed, when changing a password, for example, gmail, a message appears: "Update password for this site in google chrome?"; you have to change the auto-complete passwords in the settings or set the autocomplete = "off" attribute, since this window does not appear - Gleb Ostrikov

To disable autocomplete, there is an autocomplete="off" attribute (see https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms533486(VS.85).aspx )

However, many browsers do not support it for the password type (see https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3868299/is-autocomplete-off-compatible-with-all-modern-browsers/21348793#21348793 ). Try setting this attribute for login.
