I downloaded from the off.site archive with the adroid studio, unpacked it into /opt/ then follow the instructions to go to /opt/android-studio/bin/ and execute the studio.sh command in response I get studio.sh: command not found

I tried to patch it in the / etc / environment file, but this file is read only.

How can I fix this situation?

    try ./studio.sh - temq
  • @temq turned out, thanks. - Kirill Stoianov
  • @temq the only problem now is that if you run the studio this way - it starts, but if you close the console from which it was launched, the studio will also close, how to fix it - Kirill Stoianov

This is a feature of launching applications through the console - close the console, the application closes. When Android Studio running, right-click on the shortcut in the panel and fix it there, but then, personally for me, the studio updates broke. Those. after clicking "update" the studio was closed and did not start. The updates started working only after I started the studio via the console - temq
  • To prevent the console from interfering, create a launcher or add a studio to the menu. - Donat
