    Most likely this is a Toolbar . If this is the case, since both of these widgets perform similar tasks, you need to make a difficult choice — use the ActionBar or Toolbar

    In the first case, you need to remove the Toolbar from the code and markup, in the second, use the theme without an ActionBar (with NoActionBar at the end of the theme), and assign the Toolbar to be the ActionBar function:
