Is it possible to somehow intercept (replace) the sound (beep) of an outgoing call and output it instead of a beep using Xamarin for Android?
- Do you mean the long beeps that the caller hears? - KoVadim
- @KoVadim is what I mean. - Atlantis
- These sounds are played by the operator’s equipment. From here a conclusion - agree with the operator that he would provide you api. And, if the operator wants, then he will do it under xamarin for android. But as for me, no operator in his right mind would do this. It is possible that on some phone models it will be possible to crank it, but Xamarin is not needed for this. - KoVadim
- @KoVadim and how easy is it to play your melody on top of a ringtone during a call? I need to write an application that during a call loses its melody instead of beeps. - Atlantis
- more than confident that it strongly depends on the specific version of the radio module. And for some devices there are workarounds. Imagine that this is possible officially. This provides tremendous opportunities for virus writers and prankers. - KoVadim pm
