Hello.

Faced an annoying typing problem in programs like Skype, MS Word and some others.

When I change the language via Shift + Alt, sometimes the usual Alt key skips, which Windows, by default, considers the top navigation menu of the active window (not all programs have it). Where there is such a menu, when switching the language, Alt behaves completely unpredictable, and can either skip or take and highlight the top menu.

In the second case, if this selection is triggered, typing is interrupted and the random menu item of one of the letter buttons is called. Especially in Word, there are so many menu items assigned to the letter buttons.

Is it possible to somehow solve this problem? In my opinion, earlier (in Windows 7, now it is Windows 10) Alt behaved more adequately and did not call the top menu when switching the language. Now it works sometimes with the Alt + Shift combination. Is it possible to disable Alt altogether as a menu call?

Thanks in advance.

Well, there are options, for example:

    1. Check with another keyboard that this is not a problem with the Shift key (it can be badly burned from wear).
    2. Learn to press Shift a little earlier, and release a little later than Alt.
    3. Change the language switch combination to Ctrl-Shift (get used to it).
