Good day. I'm new to sis. administration. Therefore, please do not swear = I configure the monitoring of the load of the fa0 / 0 interface and the packet loss on it in Zabbiks. Tell me how to implement it? I was in Google, did what I did: tuning

and it looks like he sees it by snmp but why is the data element not supported? what am I doing wrong? mistake How to configure interface monitoring fa0 / 0 for load and packet loss through Zabbiks

Google has already rummaged, hope only for you

  • If you hover the mouse on the red cross in the last screenshot, what error does Zabbix show? - asaveljevs
  • he says that I’m not sure of the right parameters, so I know) it’s different, I’d like to hear clearly and understand how to configure fa0 / 0 for packet loss, I understand that I need to somehow learn the OID of this interface. but there is no access to the switch. There is no access to the server with zabbiks, there is only access to the zabbiks itself. what I have: router ip, community_name, and having only this monitoring done, interface fa0 / 0 for packet loss and load. - qaz qaz
  • I don’t ask someone to do something for me, I just really already shoveled everything, lol, I can throw off the screen with the browser history everything that’s not true on the screen, I realized it already) - qaz qaz
  • In general, I would just like to explain how in zabbix to configure monitoring of the fa0 / 0 interface on the switch for loss of traffic and interface load - qaz qaz

In any case, if you do not have access to the device and have access only to the Zabbix interface, you can use the low-level discovery functionality for SNMP (see zabbix.com/documentation/2.4/manual/discovery/… ). Doing detection on ifDescr and similar trees, you can find out what interfaces are on the device, which of them is fa0 / 0, and then configure based on the information received. In other words, you can use low-level discovery in Zabbix as a substitute for snmpwalk. - asaveljevs
