My colleagues and I are trying to install the KB968850 patch on the Microsoft 2007 project server and each time we get the following error:
Detection failed, this may be due to a corrupted installation database.
When we try to install all the fixes we get the same error. When we looked at the event viewer, we received:
- event ID, event code: 11708,
- source: msiinstaller,
- Description: Microsoft Office Server Application Project Server - Installation failed.
What can cause this error?
