Hello, there is an android application in which, after authorization, before outputting information to the ListView I have to request this information from the API and there is a longitude and latitude in the parameters. I use the standard tools for locating: LocationManager , LocationListener .
The problem is that this does not always happen quickly (rather because of the cold start of the GPS receiver) and not all phones manage to get location data.
Are there proven and reliable ways to get GPS data? I need to get them and stop working to save energy, because GPS is used on one Activity.
