Formatted an important disk and put Windows on it. How to recover data?

To begin with - physically chop it off and find another one where you will be restoring files. Then take or windows livecd, where there are programs R-Studio , Active@ File Recovery , R.Saver . Or if linux based livecd, then look towards the TestDisk program. Perform deep \ full scan mode. Well, pray that the installed OS does not physically climb on those clusters on which there was important information.
