Previously, everything was fine. I ran the application on the device and watched LogCat. Now there is a newfangled update that only the current Activity is reloaded, I press the green triangle for the first time, it starts the application, everything is fine, after I make changes, run Run a second time, but no changes are made on the device, I press the red square and start again and it does not help, you have to reconnect the device, how to use it, how to return the old debugging?

  • An hour ago there was the same question. You need to either remove the function 'Instant run` in the studio settings, or force the launch of a new version of the application by pressing Ctrl+F5 or roll back to the studio version 1.5. For details, click on the link to the duplicate question.

You can change instant run settings in

Settings or Preferences> Build, Execution, Deployment> Instant Run
