Any vnc client available? - KoVadim
  • @KoVadim, not, vnc is hardly suitable, because it clings to the existing session. And here we need the simultaneous work of several users, as I understand it. There is likely to look in the direction of the xrdp package. - don Rumata
  • Publish 1C on the Web and use the web version. If only the database lives on the server, then you can cling to client sites using 1C itself (it just has the modes “fat client” and “thin client”) - gecube

On a Linux server, VNC allows several independent sessions, see TurboVNC or TigerVNC. xvnc is bound to an existing X session. On Windows, Windows Terminal Server with licenses for acc. number of clients.

    1. If in a local network, it is possible under the X-protocol. The X server is running on the local computer. Log in to the remote with ssh -Y . For slow channels, this method is not very suitable.

    2. In linux there are two sets of vnc servers, one duplicates access to the real mouse, keyboard and video memory: vino , x11vnc ; Others organize virtual video memory and input devices in RAM: vnc4server , tightvncserver and its fork turbovnc , which is not yet in the ubuntu repository. You just need to put one in the second set.
