Hello. Why do I (Internet Explorer 11), the page https://www.google.com looks like this: enter image description here

and my friend (Chrome, I don’t know which one, but not the old one) like this: enter image description here

After cleaning the cache on a friend's computer, the design became similar to mine. What does it mean?

You have a different screen width. In addition, Google can experiment with the design. For example, I noticed a change in the number of points in the tooltip.

    • The old style sheet was cached by the browser. I just looked in the debugger - the browser loads a style sheet with a header from the cache: max-age = 31536000, i.e. 1 year. Well, of course, the browser itself can download the new version of the file again earlier, or the file can be renamed, or the cache can be cleared. - user208916
