Question by hotkeys Android Studio.
When I press CTRL + LeftMouse button or F4 - I go to the source (method, class ....). How to go back to the place where he was before the transition?
- Now I press SHIFT + F4, a new window opens and I switch there, and when I’ve finished watching, I close it. - Igor

According to F4, the source (another class) opens in the adjacent tab, so just click on the cross in the tab header or CTRL + F4 (Close) if you need a hot key and go to the previous tab - in this case, the one that pressed F4 .
If you do not need to close the tab opened by F4 or navigate within the same class (go to method), then press CTRL + ALT + LEFT (Back) - return to the previous cursor position if the jump was inside the class or to the previous tab if it was open new well and CTRL + ALT + RIGHT (Forward) - again to the one from where you came. The action of these keys is a step back (forward) in the navigation.
If the hot keys are different from the default or the system is not Windows, then you can see the combination by following: Navigate -> Back (there will be a key combination on the right)
Well, all assigned combinations can be viewed by following: File -> Settings -> Keymap
- Not that, I'm talking about navigation in the same class. - Igor
- In one class, CTRL + ALT + LEFT also acts to return to the place in the class from which F4 was pressed - pavlofff
- Now I will try something, I have this combination turn the laptop screen at 90 degrees))) - Igor
- @Igor Most likely the same combination is used in the hotkeys of the laptop itself - then one of the combinations needs to be reassigned - pavlofff
