In the task for the PSD layout, there is a border with a stripe and gradient.

After 2 days of fun, I came to the conclusion that you should try to make a border here, diva with background-image .

That's just bad luck, the gradient is superimposed, there is a picture with stripes, however, since it is thin enter image description here

Each new line of repetition, should deviate by% so that there were strips of slanting, some kind of shift , padding / margin needed. How to make a background with such a picture so that the stripes would be evenly oblique?

Daytik screenshot layout, it is not clear what you need. The first thought was background-repeat: repeat-x; - Jarvis

Each new line of repetition, should deviate by% so that there are strips of slant

A screenshot of what you want would of course be appropriate, but I understand that you just need to turn the unit a certain degree? Then there is for example CSS transform: rotate (45deg); (if only the background, then create a bg contact with the background and rotate it;)). If you want each subsequent to be with a slightly larger / smaller angle, then you will need clones and a drop of js =)

Why rotate the block if you can rotate the gradient? - Qwertiy
