Can it be very easy to explain how to use the MVC model when building a GUI in JavaFX? What folder structure to create and what to shove in them? It would be nice to still see an example of some work with github, which will demonstrate to a complete teapot how not to break using JavaFX.

Here is a good manual on the topic: http://code.makery.ch/library/javafx-8-tutorial/ru/part1/ It was told about JavaFX and about FXML and about controllers and about binding (linking propertey) like it was. In general, a wonderful resource for mastering JavaFX.
Well, do not forget about JavaFX Scene Builder (Gluon) !
PS: The manual works with Eclipse. I recommend NetBeans . But this is purely my personal preference .
- I tried these tutorials at IntelliJ IDEA. They use the Scene Builder to build the entire application. But in other sources it is not used at all, why so? - faoxis
- If you answer the question "Why is that?", Then the rationale first comes to mind: for so it is possible. JavaFX allows both to use XML (FXML) templates and not to use them. It all depends on what is convenient for the developer. - DimXenon
