Good day. There is a task: to write an application on android from a phone to a pc. Google on this topic, but found only wifi direct. But is there any way to do without it. That is, the phone and the PC are connected to a third-party wifi (it is not the phone that distributes), the person drives in (gets the application itself) the local address of the computer and send the file to it. Need ideas, tips.
- 2one thousand and one way. From the usual use of sockets (but here it will be necessary to work) to raise the ftp / http server on the computer (which will be the server) and use the client’s client on the client accordingly. - KoVadim
- onePerhaps a similar way, interacting directly with a computer - habrahabr.ru/post/301190 - Werder
- @KoVadim, and without using the client on the PC, only an android client, is this possible? - kBro
- PC client is not needed, you need a server. And the server is needed, because someone else should receive the file. Another thing is that you can use what is already in Windows - for example, the same samba (shared folders). - KoVadim
