Friends,

there is no possibility in Disk Utility to delete an unnecessary partition of a hard disk in order to merge with the main one afterwards. What am I doing wrong?

The delete button is inactive. Actually, why? This is the hard disk partition

Optional: This section was previously used as a primary, under a different OS. Now the main section is used Macintosh HD.
