I use WinApi to get the text of the controls. On combobox does not work, what could be the problem? Text seems to have a property ... Maybe inside winapi there are some pitfalls that you should know about?

    If this property is displayed in your form designer, this does not mean that it is in the Windows box that is created by the designer. A standard Windows control may not have such a property; it may be called differently. Study docks on WinApi in terms of standard controls. - Alexey
  • @Alexey indeed, for standard controls in WInAPI there are separate functions and each of them has its own set of available properties, and described in the corresponding structures of the same WinAPI. You can issue as an answer - kvvk
