On the site I did not find a normal sane explanation, is it not possible to install it through the Command Line?

- what not be the installer, and how to do it? - user33274
- in the case of windows, there is both the installer and the docs.docker.com/engine/installation/windows manual , in the case of linux everything differs only in the set of commands and the need to connect the repository for the installation. - kandellak
- I watched this link - I did not see the installer there,. - user33274

I quote Docker documentation :
Installation
If you have a virtual box running
Go to the Docker Toolbox page.
Click the installer link to download.
Install Docker Toolbox by double-clicking the installer.
Before doing this, you need to make sure that virtualization is supported by your CPU and is enabled in the BIOS settings and your OS.
- I work stably and constantly with virtualbox, thanks for the link but I didn’t know that the docker and docker tolboks are the same and I liked this docker’s weight at all - user33274
- @LenovoID is not the same thing. However, you have no choice, because the application you need only works on Linux (there is also a Docker that works with Hyper-V, but you don't need it). - etki
- @Etki you guessed which application the author needs? This is not obvious to me. - Nick Volynkin ♦
- I need Docker for project virtualization but not VirtualBox - user33274
- 2@LenovoID Well, the Docker developers insist that there is. But in fact it is a lightweight distra wrapper with Docker in a virtual machine. Too tight it is nailed to the peculiarities of the Linux kernel. - D-side

Docker for Windows is now in public beta, it raises the virtual machine in Hyper-V . True, it is limited to the Windows version, only Windows 10 starting from a specific build.
