Is it possible to distribute the site with wi-fi?

For example, so that you can run RubyOnRails on LAN and you can access the site from a mobile phone

PS

  1. Usually a wifi point is created using create_ap with sudo create_ap wlp3s0 enp2s0 MyAccessPoint passphrase
  2. The computer-distributor itself is connected to the wifi-point
  • And what is the problem to get access to the IP device? Especially on local, even the open ports are not needed here. I do it myself - smellyshovel
  • @smellyshovel, if not difficult, can write a manual? - srghma
  • Well damn. You will learn the IP address of your device on which the site is hanging (PC, as I understand it). Let it be 192.168.1.2. You open the browser on your mobile, write in line 192.168.1.2 Bor000 (3000 is the port, as far as I know, this is the port of the standard Rails Webrick's App Server. Well, everything seems to be - smellyshovel
  • @smellyshovel, didn’t work, I recognized the computer’s ip on myip.com.ua , but it’sn’t possible to get from the mobile phone, not aviable, request too long, the computer and mobile are connected to one router, the router to the provider, but the provider seems to use forgotten-like -the protocol is called, which increases the number of available ip-addresses within the network, remembering the input port (read a long time ago), can this be the case? - srghma 10:02 pm

You misunderstand the difference between external IP and internal. My external IP at the moment is 93.85.138.xxx, and it changes every time the router is restarted. And my internal IP is constant and tied to a specific device on my home network. And it is through the DOM IP that I can access any device within the network. - smellyshovel
