Windows 7 system

In general, such a trouble, recently reinstalled the system and began to install the necessary software, some files ask to be run as administrator (usually in the context menu), but for me some files simply do not have it, even with the shift key pressed, this item does not appear. I googled as it should and found similar problems, but the guys either disappeared altogether from everywhere or did not work correctly on the guest account, I have one account and I thought it was administrative. I repeat the point "Run as administrator" disappeared in some files (not all) Since I did not dare to change something with the registry for "you", so I came here, maybe you can change something.

  • At the time of solving this problem, in order to run everything you need as an admin, it’s enough to lower the UAC level ... it is somewhere around панель управления -> Безопасность и обслуживание -> изменение параметров контроля учетных записей -> никогда не уведомлять windowstune.ru/ win7 / tuning7 / kak-otklyuchit-uac-v-windows-7.html .......... if you really need to run .................. ....... if you press win+R and drive the services.msc command so that the services window opens ....... is there a secondary Logon service ?? - Alexey Shimansky
  • By the way, to dig in the registry - you can make a backup of the registry and in which case you can return everything as it was ..... well, or you can make a backup of the system just in case .... so that you can always return to something ... do backups and try to do something with the registry. for example, sevenforums.com/tutorials/… - Alexey Shimansky

*.msi files do not have this item. Windows Installer itself requests elevation. In *.exe files, the system does not distinguish between the installer and the usual program, so the launch point on behalf of the administrator must be available. - rdorn
  • @rdorn Thank you for clarification, as it turned out I didn’t see that the file is not .exe - Constantine Shibaev
  • then I will transfer in response - rdorn
