Tomcat is running, http://localhost:8080/ opens. I am trying to add Tomcat to eclipse, but it is not in the server runtime environment list. I am looking in the Windows menu -> preferences -> Server -> Runtime Environments, there is nothing there. In the same window, click Add, specify the folder with Tomcat and the result is zero. If you click Download additional server adapters - then it is not listed. Tell me what am I doing wrong?

    After clicking Add :

    • A window has opened, where you need to select the runtime environment -> choose depending on which version of tomcat is installed -> click Next

    • Enter the name of the new server, the path to the folder with the installed tomcat and JRE installed in Eclipse

    • Click Finish -> a configured server should appear in Server Runtime Environments

      the problem was solved by rearrangement eclipse, it is necessary to put eclipse ide ee and I had eclipse ide mars
