How to install the mysql-udf-ipv6_0.4_amd64.deb package which adds the new INET6_ATON function to MySQL for old versions?

  • bitbucket.org/watchmouse/mysql-udf-ipv6 section INSTALLATION. but in general, if possible - upgrade to MySQL 5.6.3 and there will be no need for a tambourine to knock :-) - cache
