I install the ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS downloaded from the official server to the server from the USB flash drive and uploaded the WinSetupFromUSB 1.6 to the USB flash drive. The server is raid 1, I start the installation of ubuntu, after marking the disk, an error window pops up and instead of words, question marks are displayed. I click OK or the cross, the installation starts again.

    Try selecting English at the beginning of the installation. In this case, most likely the error will be "readable" and it will be possible to google it. - KoVadim

    Since you put Linux on the "server", why use gui? download server installation. And also, I would check the flash drive - when booting ubunt offers a point where it can be done. - KoVadim
