Guys, help who ?! I haven't done anything for a long time here, there is a need, and now I really have a stupor, but how / how can I debug the JSF / PrimeFaces application?
- And what's the problem then? The northern part is debugged as usual no special knowledge is required. - Mikhail Chibel

- What happens in the server-side components is the standard
Remote JVM Debugin your development environment. - What happens in the browser debugging gives in very badly. For
AJAXrequests, carefully look at the answers in the browser debugger, you can often understand what happened. For example, the response hasValidation Failed, and you forgot to update the validation message display component. As a result, nothing silently happens. - If something on the page does not work - we throw out everything superfluous from it until it works, even turning off the templates. Then we gradually return and look after adding which component again broke. The method is not beautiful, but it helped me repeatedly.
- It is possible for PrimeFaces to add the
p:logcomponent, but somehow it does not help me ...
- oneYou can also add the <ui: debug /> tag to the xhtml page and in the browser on this page enter the key combination CTRL + SHIFT + D, a visual representation of the hierarchy of all the JSF components, and other useful information should be displayed. - zuvladimir
