In Linux Mint 17.3, during the screen recording (recordmydesktop) and when the screen is shown via Skype, the taskbar stops displaying. At the end of the recording / display appears again.

The problem is specifically cinnamon, only bugreport - cinnamon considers part of the “screen writers” to be full-screen applications, and as a result, hides the panel.
