Everything started from the moment when I tried to reinstall it. I deleted the previous studio, cleaned the registry through CCleaner, deleted everything that could be connected with it and started installing the 2015 studio. The first problem is that you cannot change the installation path. The second problem is the error "KB2829760", after several attempts to clean the registry and delete all unnecessary this error disappeared, but another one appeared, now during the installation a heap of packages fails and as a result VS is not installed. But the installation path, by the way, is still unavailable. Has anyone encountered such a problem? How to solve it?

I had a similar case, I don’t remember the KB number. I was then helped by deleting VS, deleting everything that has anything to do with development (even with a framework, even), then cleaning through CCleaner (both files and registry), and then rebooting and installing VS again and zero Try it, maybe it will help you. Based on personal experience.

C:\ProgramData\Package Cache, which was before and necessary ..... try to read habrahabr.ru / company / infopulse / blog / 271809 can help ....... but in general if there is a rollback of the system - you need to try and do it all over again - Alexey Shimansky
