Is it possible to make an ElementHost instance transparent? I tried many options, but none of them helped.

Not. At the junction of WinForms and WPF, transparency is not supported.
Some time ago, Microsoft developed a heroic feat and finally solved this problem, but this feature didn’t get into the release because it was considered too crutch. Such a pain.
- It's a pity. Are there any links to a githab or something? Or where were these very attempts there? - VladD
- @VladD What githab? WPF sources are closed the same. Only releases come into sourceof.net, only a toy dotnet on a githaba. Attempts were made in the depths of MS. - Athari
- one@VladD On github only "dotnet for ASP.NET", the only purpose of which is to squeeze the web from the red-eyed. "Linux Subsystem" in the top ten - from the same series. WPF, WinForms, etc., both were and remain with partially open source (even on sourceof.net with a restrictive license, not everything is laid out, WPF is not compiled, for example). - Athari
