Hello,

I have a small portfolio site with several pages which opens with a huge delay. The time between the way the server receives the request for the page and how it began to give it - 22-27 seconds. For everyone. And in the admin too.

The size of the page with pictures on average does not exceed 1Mb.
RAM is occupied no more than 30Mb.
There are no obvious errors in the server logs or in debug mode.
With WP Query, too, problems are not visible - the average query time is 50 ms.
Remote HTTP requests and scripts to other sites are not visible either through debugs or logs.
Plugins / themes disabled.

Where else to look?

I have already been knocked down, but the problem remains: each page for 2 pictures needs to wait half a minute.

  • I came across a similar situation when a client site was infected with a virus. the virus accessed the external site, but by that time the external site was already dead, the browser was waiting for data from the dead site and was hanging (until the connection timed out). you have a very similar problem. Try opening the browser console and see which hosts it is trying to connect to. - strangeqargo
  • @strangeqargo, Удаленных HTTP запросов и скриптов на другие сайты ни по дебагам, ни по логам не видно. ? - Visman
  • @Visman is not on the server side either in the logs or in the debug of remote requests. They will only be visible in the browser (client-side), since the purpose of such viruses is to infect / redirect the visitor to another site. If the author reports that he checked the browser logs too, then my hypothesis, of course, will disappear. - strangeqargo
