When creating a new WPF application (and when working with an old one), an error occurs when trying to display a .xaml form:

"The Microsoft Visual Studio XAML Designer program has been terminated", then the following exception text can be read in Visual Studio: System.Runtime.Remoting.RemotingException [5008] The constructor suddenly stopped execution!

full text HERE .

The number in square brackets is always different. Only recently deleted VS 2012 and installed VS Enterprise 2015 , everything worked fine in VS 2012 . From updates, the studio offers updates only for Azure , Microsoft Office Developer Tools , Microsoft SQL Server .

System Windows 7 SP1 (activated pirated version). Climbed most of the Internet - almost did not find anything intelligible, but what I found did not help me. Folder Designer / ShadowCache cleaned - does not help (or rather, it is empty for me). I tried to reinstall the studio, tried to put the studio in 2013 - the exact same mistake. From the radical measures it remains only to demolish the system and put it again (put Win 10?). Some more info:

My system: Win 7 SP1, installed all the updates to this month with the exception of updates that knock down activation. The studio is installed on one local disk, the system is on another. Before this, the studio of 2012 was also installed not on the system disk, and the XAML Designer worked wonderfully there.

Recommend that you can still do, please. Maybe someone had such a problem and he solved it all the same?

  • Try to delete Visual Studio, then clear the registry on non-working keys, delete temporary files using various software, and then delete the folders C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0 , C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0 , C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0 , reboot your PC and then re-install Visual Studio. - vmp1r3
