When editing the database through Sql Managment Studio, umlauts are inserted without problems. But it is worth editing as a request UPDATE docsTbl SET prim='ş' then the letter s is placed in the base. What to do, please tell me !!!

Found the answer: UPDATE docsTbl SET prim=N'ş' - the letter N must be set everywhere.

The certificate says that the prefix N will write the text in Unicode, and without it - in the default code page of the database:

Prefix Unicode Character String Constants with the letter N. Do not recognize certain characters.
