how to upgrade to UDMA6, UDMA6 is in BIOS, and in Windows is UDMA5 ??? Loops changed, maybe someone knows where in the registry to register UDMA6

Maybe this is due to errors in smart, but it seems they are not critical

For UDMA6 to work, you need a combination of several

  • drive support
  • controller support
  • driver support controller in the operating system
  • so that this mode is enabled in the settings.

As I understand it, UDMA goes as a mode of compatibility with the PATA-interface. For SATA, this parameter is not relevant.

  • Your drive is already running outside of the UDMA5 aka UDMA-100 mode (max. 100 MBytes / s) - gecube

To increase the speed is to buy an SSD. The average speed of the hard disk is still very small and changing the loops, landing on another port, digging the registry does not make any sense. Even buying a cycle therapy device is justified only as "I want a very reliable screw."
