I need to connect to ftp in Notepad ++ on the Open Server. I did not change anything in the settings. I tried to enter the ftp username and password of the same ftp (as stated on the official website), tried without a name and password - does not connect, tried the username. without a password - nothing at all. Waiting for help!
- And ... What the hell do I get from the computer to him via the remote access protocol? This, of course, is possible, but why? - D-side
- You probably did not understand me, I am on the same computer, I just need to display the contents of the localhost folder in the NppFTP plug-in for Notepad ++
- So why do you need NppFTP if you work with a local computer? Why an extra layer of access? - D-side
- firstly it’s so much more convenient to create files, secondly in NppFTP you can immediately create a file with any extension (index.php, main.css, etc.) and in the usual windows explorer it’s impossible to do so - BedOmar
- oneYou could just look for another plugin for the file tree, not burdened with an additional wrapper for what is already there. The people, look, advises SherloXplorer. Yes, and in Windows Explorer, you can make files with any extension. - D-side

If you need a more convenient way to work with files located on the local computer - I advise you not to look in the direction of FTP clients, but in the direction of file managers.
Namely, you should look at least at these two programs:
- FAR Manager,
- Total commander
PS File creation in FAR Manager - Shift + F4, editing - F4. Favorite editor can be screwed through F9 - "Options" - "Editor Settings". The interface language changes to Russian via F9 - "Options" - "Languages".

Instead of using NppFTP for localhost, I use the Explorer plugin to go there to the localhost folder and create files in it. Also convenient
