Gave practice. You need to run WAR (or jar) through iis service manager. How to do it? Are there any initial lessons for newbies?

  • war needs to be run in a servlet container. Try Tomcat or Jetty. IIS is no side here. - Nofate

You cannot directly run a Java application on IIS. You need to use a Java EE container (Glassfish, Tomcat, etc.) You can, of course, use IIS as a proxy, but there is not much point in this.

  • And WAR also can not? - Max.
  • @ Maxim, no. This jar / war is a Java application. IIS is about Microsoft .NET, another universe. - Nofate
  • I apologize for the carp, but that everything would be clear to me. A .dll and .exe possible? - Max.
