Faced such a problem. I create a record in the admin panel for the VP, writes that the record was created, go to the page with all the records, it is not there, I update the page - it appeared. I click "delete", the script runs and the record disappears, but it is worth refreshing the page and there it is again. And if I try to create another record, it simply overwrites the past. The situation is similar with the rest of the content, including plugins, and I can’t even change the theme normally, it works out only after refreshing the page or doesn’t work at all.

I tried to turn off plugins, use the default theme - nothing helps.

Unfortunately, I can’t say for sure after what happened, there were edits both in layout and in forms, but in any case, all edits were applied to a specific topic. I kept track of the data in the database - everything is more logical there, if the script issued a successful deletion, but in fact did not delete it, the record always exists in the database, if I add a new record, then everything appears in the database.

I am a beginner in the VP and I can’t just pick up the engine and pick it up, can someone come across or can just send at least in which file to search? I will be very grateful!

Reinstall WordPress and re-fill the topic ... If it didn’t help, it means that they ruled the topic and created a bug - look in the source code, which changed and could lead to such consequences (perhaps some kind of self-written function intercepts connections to the database when a certain hook).
