Hello.

I want to start learning how to code for Android in practice, but I’m still not given me an IDE installation and configuration.

First installed Android Studio . But I don’t have enough PC power for it. Everything hangs terribly and errors appear on level ground due to lack of performance on the 64-bit seven.

In Kubuntu the same.

Decided to switch to Eclipse . But she stubbornly refuses to work on Windows.

Googled Methods for solving errors from Google did not give anything.
Reinstalled, but it only got worse.
Again, two hours googled errors, but this did not lead to any positive result. AVD just didn't start on an empty project.

Googled, is there any Eclipse under the sneakers. It turned out that there is. I installed it, but I see a clean development environment for Java itself, and not for Android .

Questions:

  1. Where is the SDK manager ?
  2. Where is the AVD Manager ?
  3. What should I install and prescribe to see my familiar Android development environment? Google, but they don't write anything sensible there, because mostly about Windows.

Help run HelloWorld after 2 weeks of messing around with the IDE :(

PS Tried on this guide, but there is a problem in the 6th step. The terminal says that the android command does not exist.
