Good time, the stackers encountered the following problem, decided to replace their already locked axis with a new one, there was some assembly windows 10x64, I don’t remember anymore, there were no complaints in terms of the video card. I decided to download the trial version from the site, reinstalled, everything seemed to work, but as soon as the automatic download / installation of the video driver occurred, everything hung at the beginning and after a while (up to a minute) the screen went out, even after several reboots, the boot screen and there is a correct one screen. I tried to check by clamping and repeatedly pressing the shift key, pressed win + r entered the wrong command trying to cause a beep - nothing, tried the same way (blind) through the command line to reboot (shutdown / r), reinstalled Hindu, disabled automatic updates, downloaded and installed drivers, disabled the same fast loading axis, nothing helped. I made sure that the problem was in the video driver in the following way: it loaded in safe mode and disconnected its video adapter through the device manager. Can anyone come across a similar problem and know its solution? Video card: ATI HD 5xxx

  • Well, if the problem is guaranteed with the video driver, try downloading the driver automatically, and manually, from the manufacturer’s website. And put it. - VladD
  • @VladD I did it, downloaded it manually and installed it, besides I used autodetect from the site amd downloaded and installed - nothing, now I will try to download some assembly from the rutreker and check on it. Thank you for your comment. - Uladzimir Khadakouski
  • And if you temporarily replace the video card? - VladD
  • Well, maybe the built-in video card is not disabled in your BIOS, and it interferes. Check it out. - VladD
  • @VladD I am not changing the video card physically, disabling the current one that is not working. Everything is normal, only there is used Microsoft basic video driver and resolution 1000x600. Ok, I’m already finishing the installation again :( I'll check it later in the BIOS. - Uladzimir Khadakouski

Tired of numerous installations and reinstallations of both the driver and the operating system itself, I decided to test the driver for some older Windows version, chose Windows 7 SP1 X 64, after installing the driver the following problem occurred - the backlight in the screen was turned off, it was solved This is as follows: You can download in safe mode or light up the screen with a flashlight,

1) click Win + R and enter regedit ;

2) Go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ ControlSet001 \ Control \ Class {4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} \ 0000]

3) Click on an empty space and create two DWORD (32-bit) value with the following names KMD_EnableBrightnesslf2 and KMD_EnableBrightnessInterface2 ;

4) Double click on each created file and write 1 in the Data Value field;

5) Reboot;

Apparently the problem lies somewhere in the windows 10, if I find the reason - I will supplement my answer.
