Hello. Today I faced a very strange question. Created the Network directory (in Documents and Settings using md). Passed into it using cd. After that, already in the Network through the aforementioned md, the New subdirectory was created in it. And here the most interesting thing began: in the New directory, create a file with the extension * .doc. I am writing copy con C: \ Documents and Settings \ Network \ New \ 1.doc error in syntax. If you write copy con C: \ 1.doc - creates. Bypassed the problem by going through cd to the New directory itself, and in it copy con 1.doc . Is it the current directory? If so, why is it possible to create a file in C: on the Network , but not in C: \ Documents and Settings \ Network \ New ? Help me please.

In general, I did everything differently than the first time. Firstly, I did not run through directories using cd, but created subdirectories prescribing absolute paths. Secondly, he took the path in quotes, as I was advised.
