When I run roxterm from the gnome terminal for debian testing, I get tons of lines like this:

** (roxterm: 31715): WARNING **: VTE's inner-border property unavailable

and at the end - a segmentation error. The strange thing is that the gnome terminal based on vte works fine, moreover, roxterm used to work without problems. A gray transparent background was set up in it, nothing else was special.

Problems began shortly after the installation of a new gnome theme. Put a flat - plat for gtk + and sequoia-ng for gnome-shell. For installation, it was also necessary to install packages from reps:

albatross-gtk-theme blackbird-gtk-theme bluebird-gtk-theme greybird-gtk-theme gtk2-engines-murrine murrine-themes

However, their complete removal, switching to standard Adwaita and the subsequent reboot did not help.

  • Does the newly created user have the same problems? - aleksandr barakin
  • @alexanderbarakin Yes, the same mistake. Created user useradd -m -d /home/user user Perlogin, checked, all topics are standard. I really do not think that the error is connected with the change of topics. - Fisher
  • Yes, most likely the “problem” is in the use of repositories under test. The most reasonable, in my opinion - to send an error message. There is a convenient and recommended tool for this: the reportbug program from the package of the same name . - aleksandr barakin
  • I sent a bug, although it is a bit strange that I did not encounter an error anywhere else on the forums. It seems that there are no special settings. Just in case the link is bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=838586 - Fisher
