The height of the slider should refer to the height of the scrollbar's working area (without buttons at the ends), as the height of the visible area refers to the height of the entire page.
ratio = Min(visibleHeight / totalHeight, 1.0); // процент видимой области thumbHeight = scrollHeight * ratio;
