It is necessary to call the subscribers to collect information.

The asterisk has a solution for auto-dialing, but the main problem is that when calling from an aster, an answering machine can answer the subscriber or the user can not enter anything or the user can select the item "call back later" and in this case the aster will provide the Completed call system and the regular auto-call system will complete work with the number.

Is it possible to zafalit call status as from a dialplan so that the asterisk calls back by its own means later?

I put the Elastix for the test with the CAll Center module, but it seems to me that dialing can be done there only with the help of live operators ... Or can you still make a calling campaign with robots?

In my opinion, it’s not the best idea to use a robot to gather information. Do you yourself enjoy listening to the incoming " wait, is the connection with the operator ... " or so on? Some disrespect is felt. I usually hang up right away. In my opinion, all these auto-calls are useful for auto-informing, no more (for example, as in a taxi: "Waiting for you ..."). It is better to put a live operator on the ringing, which will be repulsed from the answering machines and will be able to adjust the conversation.

According to the status of the call $ {DIALSTATUS} you can determine whether the call was answered (answering machine or person).

By choosing an item in the voice menu of the type “Do you want us to call back later - press 1” you can schedule a call at a later time.

In any way, it is better to write your piece of dialplan. Few, then, what ideas the leadership will have, it will be possible to implement.

Unfortunately, I do not have a deal with Elastix, but I think you can send a answered call to the desired piece of dialplan with settings. And there already implement the processing as you like.

    • Collection of information comes from customers who have already registered, they are waiting for this call because they will not hang up. > you can schedule a call at a later time. How to do it? To load the colfile and move it to the folder? - Andrew Romanenko
    • Well yes. When you select an item, create the required folder, set the desired creation date (for example, the current time + 2 hours) and move it to the folder. Asterisk itself on the time of the file creation will call back at the specified time. - StuxForce
